How do I perform LT50 (Lethal time 50) calculations?
You need to do probit analysis....instead of concentrations like in LC50, you should use number of days of treatment.. You can easily do probit analysis and regression studies on EXCEL, SPSS..

Step 1: Calculate mortality data..
Step 2: Log 10 values for number of days
Step 3: Probit values for percent mortality(using probit table)
Step 4: Regression analysis
Step 5: Y will be the probit value for 50 (or whatever you need) as you need to calculate LT50
Step 6: Your AntilogX.will be the Median lethal time.

Hope I explained it well..... You can follow these steps..

I did this for insecticide persistence study .. it will also work in ecotoxicology context..
