How easily hydroquinone absorb oxygen in air to become benzoquinone? What can I do to make this happen easier? Will using an acid help? And can sodium sulphate convert it back to hydroquinone?

The oxidation of hydroquinone in air is accelerated by the presence of impurities, and is sensitive to the pH of the final solution. Alkaline solutions of hydroquinone oxidise readily in air, while acidic solutions are much more stable in air. Sodium sulfate is not a reducing agent so it will have no effect on benzoquinone. There are a bunch of reducing agents which are capable of performing this reaction, I’d suggest sodium dithionite for an easily used safe reducing agent.
