In order to answer your you need to calculate the number of unsaturations with the following formula :
DoU=(2C+2+N−X−H)/2
C being the number of carbon atoms, X the number of halogens, etc ..
DoU is the degree pf unsaturation.
Here, with C5H10, DoU=(2*5+2+0–0–10)/2=1
1 means that can have a one ring, as in (CH2)*5, or one double bond, or what you call a pi bound.
