As always, the conc. acid we use in the lab has a nominal concentration with respect to acid content ….the conc. hydrochloric acid we use in the lab, [math] ext{35% w/w}[/math], is approx. [math]10.6•mol•L^{-1}[/math]. You need the density of the acid solution to make the calculation in moles per litre, [math]1.18•g•cm^{3}[/math]…

One Gram Moleculecular Wight of HCl contains = 1 g of H + 35.45 Cl =36.45
Percentage of Chlorine = (35.45 x 100)/36.45 = 97.2565
