Only copper hydroxide and hydrochloric acid will react. Sodium sulphate does not participate.

Cu(OH)2 + 2HCl -> CuCl2 + 2H2O

Copper hydroxide reacts with hydrochloric acid to form copper(ii) chloride and water.

Cu(OH)2 + 2HCl = CuCl2 +2 H2O
