What is the reaction between copper nitrate and sodium hydroxide?
You didn’t specify if it was copper(I) nitrate [CuNO3] or copper (II) nitrate [Cu(NO3)2] so I will do the equation for both. The products are copper (I) hydroxide [CuOH] or copper (II) hydroxide [Cu(OH)2] and sodium nitrate (NaNO3). Both of these are double displacement reactions, where both reactants, in essence, change their partners.
