Solubility in dil HCl…. A dilute solution of HCl is essentially water. Any substance soluble in water will dissolve in a solution of HCl unless there is a reaction of the cation with chloride ion. For instance, adding AgNO3 to HCl(aq) will result in the formation of insoluble AgCl.
(NH4)2CO3 + HCl(aq) → NH4Cl(aq) + CO2(g) + H2O(l) ….. gas is given off Ba(NO3)2 will simply dissolve in water or in HCl(aq), no insoluble precipitates MgSO4 is soluble in water; you won’t see it, but HSO4^- ion will form NH4Cl is soluble in water or in HCl(aq)
