Why does the solubility of magnesium hydroxide decrease with an increase in temperature?
There are very few chemicals where this is correct. Salt (sodium chloride) is one of them,(or only a small change in solubility with a rise in temperature).

It doesn’t, actually. 0.00064 g of Mg(OH)₂ dissolve in 100 g of water at 25 °C, but the solubility increases to 0.004 g/100 g at 100 °C (6.25 times as much).
