3 question on vilsmeier haack formylation
1)You should read the mechanism of this reaction. You have 2 solutions one is the POCl3 in DMF the other is the compound ,which you want to formylite.dissolved in DMF 2) Check https://www.organic-chemistry.org/namedreactions/vilsmeier-reaction.shtm 3) Partition means to seperate in a shake funnel, You should know what bicarbonate and what the ethylacatate does
