Bromo, carbon tetrachloride is prohibited, and what replacement solvent is selected?

It is reasonable to say in the second floor, which was previously made of benzyl bromide from benzyl alcohol, which was used in tribromide and dichloromethane. However, when the reaction is finished, the landlord is best to bring a contishment mask, half defense, otherwise it is called a stimulus.

Carbon tetrachloride is generally not considered in drug synthesis

Nbs bromine I uses ethyl acetate, NBS batch is added, and the effect is good

temperature should be 50 more

Carbon tetrachloride is susceptible to gene mutations due to its hydrocoxic, and is generally prohibited to use.
Alternative carbon tetrachloride can be used:
1, DCE (1,2-dichloroethane).This is not very strict for the requirements. The disadvantage of DCE is to have carcinogenicity, while the atmospheric ozone is destroyed.
2, DCM (dichloromethane).Dichloromethane defect is that the boiling point is too low, and the recovery is not high.Relatively speaking, DCM's toxicity and environmentally friendship is better than tetrachloride and DCE.The reaction is compared.)

Observed with 1,2-dichloroethane, not bad
