my suspicion is that there is somewhere a contamination. Either the dye itself: Did the the company changed its protocol? Did the dye get a make over? Ask for a different lot number. The DMSO has gone bad (happened to me) or whatever else you use specifically to load these cells may have changed or carries a contamination. Good luck trying!
