DMF removal from water soluble product
Toluene azeotropes are often used in industry to remove things like this. It is really easy to do in a plant.

I always use acetone for hydrochlorides. However I have never used this particular salt.
Also when something is in DMF it never seems to want to come out.
I take it your plant cannot get enough heat and vacuum to just distill it off? then azeotrope a couple of times with toluene?
This is how I do it in the lab but this is impractical on a commercial scale
