DCF is diffusible from the cell, so if the preparation and assay take variable time, it will create inconsistent results among H2O2 conc, duplicates/triplicates, etc. It also reacts with different pH. If I were you, I would be extra careful about the time of prep and assay, go over the non-diffusible derivates, as well as other options. Good luck.
