NADES are mostly water with added sugars etc. So you end up with a solution which is very much the same as what there was in your plant sample... therefore still need to separate, purify, eliminate the water (very energy consuming) and the rest. I jut do not understand the logic of using these "solvents", as final energy requirements are much too high.

Try to re-extract the compunds from DES to organic solvents by LLE or SPE. You can think also on preparative LC.

Most of DESs do not contain water, but the hydrophilic pne can extract it from the plant sample.
