We find two methods of surface cleaning/preparation can be very useful just prior to coating. For plastics we use corona discharge tools. For metallic surfaces we use plasma etching. Both can significantly change how a coating will wet out onto the surface along with removing any undesirable material on the surface.

Dear Pranjali Jadhao . As with most metals, cleaning and oxide removal of molybdenum is done in an acid bath. One formulation that is suggested for the removal of both light and heavy oxide is about 50% (by volume) nitric acid plus about 10% (by volume) hydrofluoric acid (from ASM Handbook Series, Volume 5).
