Relationship between solubility of methanol in water and temperature

The temperature should not be too high, at least less than the boiling point of methanol. Ordinary room temperature water is OK.More

What kind of environment do you mean? Is it good to control the ambient temperature? I don't understandMore

Room temperature is OK, but high temperature is not good, and methanol is easy to evaporate. Methanol and water can be mixed in any proportionMore

Personal opinion: Room temperature water is the most economical, but its absorption effect is not as good as that of low temperature water (the higher the temperature is, the higher the saturated vapor pressure of methanol is, which will increase the methanol gas phase concentration and cause losses). If conditions permit, 10 ℃ water can be used for absorption.More

Methanol and water can be mutually soluble in any ratio; At a certain pressure, with the change of temperature, there is a gas-liquid two-phase equilibrium between methanol and water.More

Name of methanol: methanol; wood alcohol; Wood alcohol; Methyl hydroxide; Methanol; Methyl alcohol; Carbinol; Wood alcohol; Wood spirit; Methyl hydroxide; CAS: 67-56-1 colorless, transparent, highly volatile, flammable liquid. Slight alcohol smell. Molecular formula C-H4-O. The molecular weight is 32.04. The relative density is 0.792 (20/4 ℃). Melting point - 97.8 ℃. The boiling point is 64.5 ℃. Flash point 12.22 ℃. The autoignition point is 463.89 ℃. Vapor density 1.11. Vapor pressure 13.33KPa (100mmHg 21.2 ℃). The lower explosion limit of steam air mixture is 6 ~ 36.5%. It is miscible with water, ethanol, ether, benzene, ketone, halohydrocarbon and many other organic solvents. Methanol and water can be mutually soluble in any proportion.More

Methanol can dissolve with water at will. Is it related to temperature? At ordinary times, we directly use water to replace the methanol pipeline equipment for process treatment.More
