Oh yeh sorry of course... used Pd(PPh3)4, K2CO3 as base and THF with added water.

My guess is atmospheric O₂, either in the reaction (you don't mention an inert atmosphere) or in the reagent bottle (what colour was it? Brown means there's Pd(II) in there).
