Oh yeh sorry of course... used Pd(PPh3)4, K2CO3 as base and THF with added water.

My guess is atmospheric O2, either in the reaction (you don't mention an inert atmosphere) or in the reagent bottle (what colour was it? Brown means there's Pd(II) in there).
