Do doctors get kickbacks from prescribing blood pressure medications?
I beg to differ. I am 5’-9” and weighed 220 lbs about 10 years ago. My cholesterol was 208 and my BP was 140/100. I was on meds for both to get these numbers down.
Fast forward. At 60, I am down to 180 lbs and exercise an hour a day. I quit drinking alcohol altogether and avoid sugar the best I can. My cholesterol is at 138 and my BP is down to about 110/75. I am not on any meds and feel great. Don’t miss beer or sweets. It can be done without a lot of hardship. Andy M.

In Australia it is a criminal offence to receive a “kickback” from prescribing any medication whether it be for blood pressure or for anything else.
Furthermore the doctor would be struck off the medical register.
I am sure there would be similar punishments in most civilised countries throughout the world.
