Define X and mention the details of Ascorbic acid (grade) you have. Whether you are using its stable form? If not then instead of making 20X as a stock solution, prepare a fresh solution in water every time. Ascorbic acid should not be stored as it is highly unstable (until you use its stable form for your experiment). Good luck
