As a general guide, keep the pH between 2-13 and avoid strong oxidizers.

It is better than using bleach but pH must be maintained in desired limit.

Sure , while sodium hypochlorite has active chlorine which will react with sephadex

Do not use bleach, or NaOH, HCl, keep pH between 2-13. Yet you can use pyridine or NaHCO3 dilute solution in some case. But in ordinary MeOH with small amount acetic acid washing is enough to wash for LH20 column chromatography. Any material which is not dissolved in MeOH cleanly should not be applied , or filtrate before charge. LH20 can be used in EtOH, EtOH/water, acetone etc, however. Yet it is good to separate plant aromatic compounds soluble to MeOH.

add a small zone of DMSO and elute is using methanol or MeOH/Water
