Nippon Paint is developing high-performance environmental protection coatings
As a leading brand in the coatings industry, Nippon Paint is a rare paint supplier in the industrial coatings field that has both powder coatings, water-based coatings and high-solid coatings products and technical capabilities. In order to meet market demand, Nippon's technical team aimed at higher solid content and lower VOC emissions, and developed a variety of new high-performance green paint products for agricultural and construction machinery (ACE).
It is understood that Nippon Paint has previously developed the first generation (VOC<420g/L) high-solid coatings for agricultural and construction machinery and equipment, such as NIP-HSOLID PU/EP, NIPPE URETOP HS ONEC, SP 300, etc. After the products are listed, they have been recognized by many industry leaders and purchased in large quantities.
On the basis of exploring to maintain the good performance of the first-generation high-solid coatings, the Nippon R&D team successfully developed the second-generation technology (VOC<380g/L and <330g/L); at the same time, the Nippon technical team Through close communication and collaboration with the production supply chain and business departments, we have prepared for mass production of the third-generation technology (VOC<250g/L) low-temperature fast-curing coating system.
