China Petroleum Coke Import Volume to Surge in Q2, 2018
According to SCI’s statistics, China imported 1,461.6kt of petroleum coke from January to February 2018, up 118.87% Y-O-Y. In Q2, 2018, SCI reckons that the import volume of petroleum coke will continue to surge. With the maintenance season coming to an end, China’s petroleum coke supply will further increase. Moreover, downstream users show poor interest in purchasing petroleum coke resources. On the whole, SCI predicts that China’s petroleum coke market will remain sluggish in Q2, 2018 and will improve to some extent in the later period of Q2, 2018.
