The Expopharm is an international pharmaceutical trade fair, which has established itself as a leading European trade fair for the pharmacy sector. It takes place once a year, alternating between Dusseldorf and Munich and will be open to trade visitors only. The Expopharm was founded in 1949 as "pharmaceutical exhibition" and announces today the most important innovations from all areas of the pharmacy world such as pharmaceuticals, toiletries, food supplements, natural remedies but also pharmacy equipment and technical literature. Among the exhibitors are the market leaders of the industry, offering among others a comprehensive range of seminars and workshops. Here clinical trials of new drugs, new software and other complex services are presented. The Expopharm is the informative meeting place for the most important issues and the international exchange between visitors and offers importers and exporters a perfect platform for doing business and for networking. In conjunction with the Expopharm the most important occupational political event of the German pharmacist "Deutscher Apothekertag" will take place.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 10. October to 13. October 2012, about 500 exhibitors and 23600 visitors on the Expopharm in Munich.
