Milestone Capital Enters Pipe Coating Industry and Expands Its Portfolio with Acquisition of MCIP Industrial Enterprises Corp.
Milestone Capital, Inc., in partnership with D2 Equity Capital, LLC, has acquired the assets of MCIP Industrial Enterprises Corp. The acquisition includes MCIP’s pipe coating facility in Pearland, Texas, and will help MCIP become one of the fastest growing pipe coating companies on the Gulf Coast.
“We are excited to expand our portfolio of companies with the acquisition of MCIP,” said Kelly Williams, Managing Director of Milestone Capital. “MCIP is known for its exceptional work quality and superior customer service, and we look forward to building on this to further establish MCIP as the ‘go-to’ pipe coating facility in the Gulf Coast.”
Jeff Donaldson, Managing Director of Milestone Capital, will serve as President and Interim Chief Executive Officer of MCIP during the transition period. “It is exciting to work with the Mosqueda family to build on the legacy Benjamin Mosqueda created for MCIP,” said Donaldson. “This company is poised to become a leader in the pipeline coating industry, and we believe the coating experience the Mosqueda family brings combined with Milestone’s history of professional management and strategic guidance will be an excellent combination.”
Milestone Capital and D2 Equity Capital brokered the transaction, with D2 founder Dennis Dunn bringing his operational and financial management experience to the newly formed team. “This is a unique opportunity to partner with a growing business, help build on their success, and take them to the next level in this industry,” said Dunn. “This experienced team is well positioned for great success, and we look forward to continuing to provide excellent service to our customers while developing new products to help MCIP and our customers grow together.”
