The bubbles formed by soap are the result of a process known in chemistry as surface tension, where water molecules are attracted to each other with great force, forming a sphere of air with a thin layer of soapy material. In this phenomenon, ingredients such as glycerin prevent the air from escaping, and because of the light weight of the bubbles, they can float in space.
The basic reason why soap cleans is that it works as if it were a battery, its ends being similar, as if they were a positive side, and a negative one, which creates an emulsification in the medium where it acts, causing a separation of the fat particles, or dirt, which are wrapped in the bubbles and slide into the water disintegrating.
