Prostatic hyperplasia
Prostatic hyperplasia, formerly known as prostatic hypertrophy, is a common disease in middle-aged and elderly men. It is a benign lesion of the prostate. The cause of its hyperplasia is closely related to changes in male hormones and testicles. At the same time, excessive sexual activity, masturbation, interrupted sexual intercourse and irritating foods can all cause excessive congestion of the testicles and prostate. Repeated excessive congestion can easily cause the testicles to atrophy, and the prostate will easily hypertrophy and proliferate over time. Its common symptoms are frequent urination, urgency (inability to hold back urine), incomplete urination (feeling of incomplete urination), intermittent urination, urinary incontinence, etc. According to foreign statistics, about half of men over 40 years old suffer from benign prostatic hyperplasia, and patients over 80 years old can reach 80%. According to clinical evidence, more than 60% of men over 50 years old have enlarged prostates.
