Thromboangiitis obliterans
Thrombosis angiitis obliterans (TAO) is a segmental vascular inflammation that is different from arteriosclerosis. The lesions mainly affect the medium and small arteries and veins in the distal limbs. Pathologically, it is mainly manifested as characteristic inflammatory cell-infiltrated thrombi, and there is less involvement of the vascular wall.
