Bile reflux gastritis
Bile reflux gastritis, also known as alkaline reflux gastritis, refers to a syndrome of epigastric pain, bile vomiting, abdominal distension, weight loss and other symptoms caused by bile reflux into the stomach. It is common after gastrectomy and gastrointestinal anastomosis, with a total incidence of about 5%, of which the incidence after Billroth II gastrectomy is 2 to 3 times that of Billroth I. In view of the differences in its symptoms, pathological changes and treatment response from other post-gastrectomy syndromes, Roberts et al. separated this disease from post-gastrectomy complications and listed it as an independent disease.
