Intermittent exotropia
Intermittent exotropia is a type of strabismus between exotropia and concomitant exotropia, which means that the visual axes are often separated. It first occurs when looking far away. When looking far away, the amplitude of fusional divergence exceeds the amplitude of fusional convergence, that is, exotropia occurs. Before intermittent exotropia occurs, there is exotropia first.
