Pheochromocytoma
Pheochromocytoma (PHEO) is a tumor formed by chromaffin cells. Pheochromocytoma outside the adrenal gland can occur anywhere from the carotid body to the pelvic cavity. It can lead to abnormal blood pressure (often manifested as hypertension) and metabolic disorder syndrome.
