Keratomalacia
Keratomalacia is a highly nutritional disorder caused by a lack of vitamin A. In the early stage, the cornea and conjunctival epithelium become dry and deteriorate, and in the later stage, the corneal stroma becomes necrotic and collapses. It is more common in children under 3 years old, and often affects both eyes.
