Sebaceous hyperplasia, also known as senile hyperplasia of sebaceous glands, is a benign tumor caused by the increase of normal sebaceous glands in the elderly skin. It is also called senile sebaceous nevus or adenomatous sebaceous hyperplasia. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly people over 50 years old. The main manifestation is a concave yellow papule on the forehead and face. When it affects the appearance, surgical or non-surgical treatment can be performed.
