Severe combined immunodeficiency
Due to the congenital abnormal differentiation of lymphoid stem cells, infants lack T cells and B cells after birth, resulting in defects in both humoral and cellular immunity. Severe combined immunodificiency (SCID) can be divided into X-linked inheritance type, autosomal recessive inheritance type and sporadic type. It is a severe form of combined immunodeficiency.
