Trichostrongyliasis is a zoonotic parasitic disease caused by Trichostrongylus parasitizing the duodenum and jejunum of the human body. In mild cases, the clinical symptoms are not obvious or there are no subjective symptoms. In severe cases, there may be symptoms similar to hookworm disease, such as anemia, malnutrition, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, headache, fatigue, easy fatigue, etc. Trichostrongyliasis often coexists with hookworm disease. The main infection is oral infection.
