Brain contusion
Cerebral contusion and laceration refers to organic damage to brain tissue caused by violence on the head. It includes two pathological types: contusion and laceration. It is the most common injury in gross anatomy and CT after craniocerebral injury, usually multiple and accompanied by other types of craniocerebral injuries. Cerebral contusion and laceration can occur in the corresponding part or vicinity of the direct impact of violence, causing impact injuries, but the most serious and common occurrence is that cerebral contusion and laceration occurs in the part far away from the impact point, the corresponding point of the violent action point, causing serious concussion injuries.
