Stasis headache
Blood stasis headache is one of the headache syndromes. Symptoms include dizziness and distension, severe stabbing pain in the head, pain in a fixed location, intermittent onset, lingering and unhealed, petechiae or dark purple on the tongue, and sluggish pulse. It is mostly caused by long-term illness, qi stagnation and blood stasis or sequelae of trauma.
