Acute Colonic Pseudoobstruction Syndrome is a group of syndromes characterized by primary or secondary colon dilatation without lesions in the colon itself. It often occurs in patients with long-term illness or long-term bed rest, and the site of onset is often in the ileocecal region or the right colon.
