Intracranial hypotension headache
Intracranial hypotension headache refers to a headache caused by cerebrospinal fluid fistula or lumbar puncture after trauma, which causes excessive leakage of cerebrospinal fluid from the puncture site to the outside of the meningeal cavity, resulting in a decrease in intraspinal pressure and the downward pulling of pain-sensitive tissues in the posterior cranial fossa. Headaches are common after lumbar puncture.
