Pesticide nephropathy
Nephropathy due to pesticide intoxication refers to kidney damage caused by absorption through the respiratory tract or skin, or accidental ingestion or self-ingestion of pesticides during the production and use of pesticides. Renal damage is mainly characterized by renal tubular degeneration, and a few severe cases may lead to acute renal failure. Proteinuria is clinically seen.
