Menstrual rash
Menstrual rash is a rash that occurs in connection with the menstrual cycle. One to three days before the onset of menstruation, erythema, papules, wheals, blisters, bullae, erosions, exudates, and pruritus may appear locally or multiple times on the limbs and trunk. The rash naturally subsides and disappears with the end of menstruation. It is generally believed to be related to the allergic reaction caused by the sudden increase in progesterone secreted by the ovaries before the onset of menstruation.
