Aspirin-induced asthma
Asthma attacks caused by the use of certain drugs are called drug-induced asthma (DIA), including patients with no history of asthma who develop asthma attacks after using certain drugs, and asthma attacks or asthma exacerbations caused by the use of certain drugs in asthma patients. The most common drug-induced asthma is aspirin-induced asthma (AIA). According to foreign statistics, the incidence of DIA in asthma patients is 10.5%, of which nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) account for 77%; and AIA accounts for 2/3 of NSAIDs-induced asthma and 50% of all DIA.
