Neurofibroma
Neurofibroma is also called neurofibroma, neuroma, perineural fibroma, Schwann cell tumor, and perineural fibroblastoma. There are many names for this disease, reflecting different views on its origin. It can be summarized into the following categories: Category 1: neurofibroma or Schwann cell tumor; Category 2: neurofibroma or perineural fibroblastoma, which refers to the connective tissue of tumor cells from the neural mesoderm. Neurofibroma can originate from peripheral nerves, cranial nerves and sympathetic nerves.
