Inguinal granuloma
Granuloma inguinale is a chronic, mildly contagious sexually transmitted disease caused by granuloma capsularis. This bacterium appears as an oval body in the mononuclear cells of the infected tissue, called Donoyan body, so the disease is also called Donoyan disease. It is a chronic infectious disease with granulation tissue hyperplastic plaques as the main symptom. The anus and vulva are the most common sites, forming painless ulcers, and can be self-inoculated.
