Qi-type dysentery
Qi dysentery can be divided into excess syndrome and deficiency syndrome. The basic symptoms of excess syndrome are sticky stool like crab foam, a feeling of tenesmus, abdominal distension, excessive gas during defecation, and foul smell. Or there may be bowel sounds and difficulty urinating. This is due to stagnation of dampness and heat, and the inability of Qi to circulate freely. The basic symptoms of deficiency syndrome are abdominal distension and defecation when passing gas, which is caused by the sinking of Qi in the middle and the inability of the intestine to be solid.
