Ovarian inflammation
Ovarian inflammation is a type of female pelvic inflammatory disease. It is caused by infection, which leads to inflammation of the ovaries, serious sequelae such as ovarian adhesions, fallopian tube encapsulation, abscesses and obstruction, resulting in infertility. Generally speaking, nonspecific oophoritis is divided into acute and chronic types. Usually, acute patients will have symptoms such as fever, abdominal pain, and a feeling of heaviness in the anus; while chronic patients will have signs such as general weakness, poor spirits, irregular menstruation or menstrual flow, and even masses in the lower abdomen. It is usually accompanied by pelvic inflammation.
