Diffuse fasciitis
Diffuse fasciitis (EF) is a rare disease characterized by diffuse swelling and hardening of the fascia. It is called "diffuse fasciitis with hypergammaglobulinemia and eosinophilia", but not all patients have increased eosinophils in the peripheral blood or infiltration in the tissues and hypergammaglobulinemia. Therefore, some scholars believe that it should be called "sclerosing fasciitis" to better reflect the pathological characteristics of the disease.
