Water sores
Water-soaked sores refer to wet sores between the fingers (toes) caused by water ulcers on the hands and feet. From Volume 9 of "Surgery Qixuan". Also known as water-soaked sores. Most of them are caused by long-term soaking of hands and feet in water, or long-term living in a wet place, dampness, and local friction. It often occurs between the hands or feet, or gradually expands. At the beginning of the disease, the affected area is slightly swollen, the skin is white, rotten and wrinkled, and then it becomes eroded due to friction, water flows, itching and pain, or there is secondary infection. It is more common in the working people, or it is an occupational disease of long-term water work. The disease should be taken seriously for prevention, to avoid long-term contact of hands and feet with water, and it is important to keep the local area dry, such as the use of protective equipment. It is advisable to first use licorice and coix seed decoction for external washing, keep the local ventilation and clean, or use red calcined realgar to remove the fire, grind it into fine powder and apply it externally. In severe cases, it is advisable to stop working in the water.
