Choroid plexus papilloma in children
Choroid plexus papilloma is a slow-growing benign tumor that originates from the choroid plexus epithelial cells of the ventricles and often causes communicating hydrocephalus. In childhood, choroid plexus papilloma is mostly located in the lateral ventricle (60% to 70%), mostly in the triangular area, but can also occur in the temporal horn, frontal horn or body.
