Pediatric Podger Syndrome
Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, also known as skin and mucosal pigment spots and gastrointestinal polyposis syndrome (Peutz-Jeghers syndrome), refers to the presence of scattered polyps in the gastrointestinal tract, as well as multiple melanin nevi around the mouth and hands and feet. This disease is rare, with an equal incidence in men and women, and about half of the cases have a family history.
