Mycetoma
Mycetoma is a chronic suppurative granulomatous disease of the skin and subcutaneous tissues, usually caused by a variety of fungi or bacteria due to traumatic infection. It is characterized by the formation of abscesses, granulation and sinus tracts, and may have granules discharged. It is common in tropical, humid and rainy areas and seasons. Barefoot workers are most susceptible to infection.
